Hello, I live in Dublin, Ireland. I do not speak French. The Racing Post website gives the Arc results and draw from 1988 to 2015.
But I do not have the draw (le tirage des places a la corde) for 1990, 1987, 1985, 1983, 1982, 1980 --> the introduction of stalls (le depart en stalles) (my "French" is from a small book "A glossary of French Bloodstock Terminology" by Mary-Louise Kearney (1981))
Does anyone have the draw for the years I am missing (1990, 1987, 1985 etc)? I would be very pleased to receive this information. Thank you. That is fantastic. I have searched many websites and books but could never find the draw for those years. If you want any information (pedigree; Group race winners) please ask me. I have 600+ books.

What predictive information does the draw reveal? Is prediction from draw more accurate taken in conjunction with the going? Have you done any analysis? It might be interesting to see.

A day before the Arc last year , the Racing post published something interesting on the subject. The analysis showed a significant influence of drawn N° on the result. I looked for again but I did not find. Did you have it Sean or did you remember it?
