(Zone-Turf.fr) -" La pouliche Margot Did a probablement remporté la plus belle victoire de sa carrière au travers de son succès à l'arrivée des Nunthorpe Stakes, Groupe I anglais disputé vendredi à York. Bien positionnée dans le peloton galopant contre la lice intérieur, la pouliche entraînée par Michael Bell a sûrement fait la différence à la distance puis l'a emporté d'une longueur. Constant figurant, Hamish Mcgonagall n'a pu la reprendre et a dû se contenter de l'accessit d'honneur devant Prohibit. Margot Did était montée par la femme jockey Hayley Turner qui remportait le deuxième Groupe I de l'été et de sa carrière après celui obtenu lors de la July Cup, déjà un sprint, avec Dream Ahead.
La fille d'Exceed And Excel étant déjà double lauréate de Listed cette année, il est possible de penser au Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp, Groupe I tenu sur la distance le jour du Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, comme possible objectif pour cette pouliche qui dispose de beaucoup de vitesse. "
